Worth It(ReaderXBIGBANG fanfic part 10)

You blushed and could barely nod as Jiyong passed you the drinks. Suddenly someone tapped Minji on the shoulder and led her away to ask a couple of questions. She sent you a pitying glance as she moved away as you were left alone with your bias. Just breathe, you reminded yourself…oh, and try to think of something to say.

“So, uhh…” you stuttered.

“So, you’re from our new group right? 2NE1?”

“Uh-huh,” you managed to squeak out; your face was burning hot all the way down to your collarbone.  And then, joy of all the amazingly wonderful joys, he said your name. He’d remembered it from last time. Then he winked and asked if you remembered his. You didn’t know whether to play it cool and pretend you didn’t know, or just admit that you’d been a fan since their debut.

“Ne, J-Jiyong,” you stuttered. He smiled cutely, chuckling a little, but you could already tell that his mind was drifting away from the conversation. You tried to think of ways to keep his attention on you but couldn’t exactly find a way. He smiled again, waiting for you to do something interesting, you guessed, and that smile just blew you away.

“Um, so… I heard we’re going to be helping you guys with your debut?” he offered casually.

“Ne,” you replied.

“Hmm,” he said, ending the conversation just as some more people came up to the two of you, focusing on Jiyong as you sort of faded into the back. He nodded at you for acknowledgement and you walked away. You hovered by the drink table and tried to stop hyperventilating when Chaerin appeared at your side. She raised her eyebrows and nudged you a little.

“So… what was that about? Scoring some alone time?” she asked and batted her eyelashes playfully. You hadn’t outright said anything but knew you were fairly obvious in revealing who you liked best. You grinned a little.

“Ya…I don’t know if I got anywhere tonight though,” you sighed. “How about you?” you whispered,  “Get in Teddy’s good books yet?”
Chaerin clamped a hand over your mouth. “How did you find out? I mean, what you are talking about?” You shrugged. You were pretty sure she liked him, but she hadn’t admitted to it so far and you weren’t sure if anyone else had caught on yet.

“Besides, he’s had a huge crowd around him all night,” Chaerin replied.
“I know what you mean,” you said, discreetly pointing at the ever-growing group around your Jiyong.

“Maybe you’re looking in the wrong place,”  you heard a voice form behind you suddenly say. When had Minji crept up behind the two of you? You saw Chaerin blush, knowing that Minji had also heard her as good as admit to liking Teddy.

“What do you mean? “ Chaerin and you asked Minji in unison.

“Look,” she replied, gesturing in Seung Ri’s direction. He was talking with everyone in the room, but he seemed to be keeping an eye on you and when you made eye contact…

He winked?? What did it mean? You looked to your chingus.
